What is a supercapacitor?

A supercapacitor, also known as an ultracapacitor, is an advanced energy storage device that bridges the gap between traditional capacitors and rechargeable batteries. Unlike batteries that store energy through chemical reactions, supercapacitors store energy electrostatically, allowing for rapid charge and discharge cycles.
